This Baked Honey Ham is a show-stopping centerpiece that combines sweet, citrusy, and herbaceous flavors in a tender, juicy roast. A fully cooked bone-in ham is sealed in a floured oven bag and bathed in a rich glaze made with BeeMaid Honey, lemon pepper, and fragrant rosemary or thyme.

Ingredients

oven cooking bag

6 lb bone-in fully cooked ham
2 cups
BeeMaid Honey
4 tsp.
lemon pepper
2 tsp.
rosemary or thyme, crushed

Directions

  1. Place flour in roasting bag and shake to coat inside surface. Place ham in floured bag. Combine BeeMaid Honey, lemon pepper and rosemary; pour over ham and close bag. Poke holes in top of bag with fork. Marinate until ready to cook. 
  2. Roast at 325F for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or until slightly browned. Remove from oven, let stand 10 minutes. Cut bag and remove ham, following bag manufacturer’s directions. Reserve drippings for sauce.
  3. BeeMaid Honey Sauce: Strain drippings and measure; add enough water to equal 2 cups. Add 1/2 cup white wine and bring to boil. Serve with ham.
