Ingredients

Recipe
1/2 Cup
BeeMaid Honey
1/2 Cup
Sunflower Seeds
1 Cup
Dried Apricots (finely chopped)
2 Cups
Rolled Oats
1/2 Tsp
Salt
1/4 Cup
Almond or Peanut Butter
Optional:
Nuts (finely chopped)

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Prep a 9×9 baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.

2. In a small sauce pan add the BeeMaid Honey and almond butter. Set heat to low and allow the honey and almond butter to melt. Stir with a spatula to combine then remove from heat.

3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients (oats, apricots, sunflower seeds and salt). Stir until evenly mixed. Pour the honey almond butter mixture over top and stir to coat the mixture fully.

4. Pour the coated mixture into the lined baking dish. Press the mixure down firmly with a spatula to create an even layer in the dish. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

5. Let cool completely and remove from the baking dish. On a cutting board, cut into long thin strips to make the granola bars.

Note: Granola bars can be enjoyed for up to one week if stored in an airtight container.
