1. Using a knife and cutting board, coarsley chop your ginger. Juice your lemons or oranges (approximatley 4 large lemons), straining the seeds and pulp.
2. Add the water, ginger, fresh juice and BeeMaid Honey to a blender. Blend on high speed for appoximately 2-3 minutes until the mixture is smooth and has a thick consistency.
3. Line a fine mesh strainer with a piece of cheese cloth and place in a large bowl. Pour the mixture from the blender into the cheese cloth, gather the ends of the cloth and squeeze firmly to allow the juice to pass through. Transfer the juice in the bowl to a measuring cup and let chill in the fridge for 10-20 minutes. Pour the contents into small reusable containers for an easy meal prep in the morning or to take with you on the go.
Recipe Notes: Honey Ginger Citrus Shots are best consumed fresh (same day) but can be stored in the fridge for up to 7 days. For a zestier citrus shot, use lemon juice. For a sweeter citrus shot use orange juice.
