Ingredients

Croissant Bake
6-8
Large Croissants (cut into thirds)
10 Slices
Honey Ham (thinly sliced)
8 Slices
Swiss Cheese
1/4 Cup
Mozarella or Parmesan (shredded)
1/4 Cup
Heavy Cream
4
Eggs (whisked)
1 Tsp
Salt and Pepper
2 Tbsp
Rosemary or Thyme Sprigs
Honey Butter Drizzle
1/3 Cup
BeeMaid Honey
1/3 Cup
Butter
1/2 Tsp
Garlic Powder

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and lightly grease a 9×13 casserole dish or baking pan. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, add the whisked eggs, heavy cream, salt and pepper, and 1 Tbsp of the rosemary or thyme sprigs. Mix together until the ingredients are fully combined.
  3. Dip each of the cut up croissant pieces into the creamy egg wash mix, ensuring it is coated on all sides. Repeat this process and place the croissant pieces into the casserole dish until it is full.
  4. Fold the honey ham pieces and place in between the croissant pieces. Repeat this step with the Swiss cheese.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella on top along with the additional 1 Tbsp of rosemary sprigs.
  6. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the Swiss cheese is melted and the croissants are crisp and golden on the outside (be careful not to overcook and let the cheese or croissants burn).
  7.  While it bakes, add the butter and BeeMaid Honey to a sauce pan and cook at medium low heat. Allow the honey and butter to dissolve and simmer then add the garlic powder and stir together. After approx. 3 minutes of simmering, remove the saucepan from the heat and transfer the honey butter mixture into a bowl.
  8. Remove the casserole dish from the oven and generously drizzle the honey butter mixture overtop of the croissants.
  9. Enjoy!
