Pears (halved and seeded)
1/3 Cup
BeeMaid Honey
1 Tbsp
Vanilla
1 Tsp
Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp
Nutmeg
Pinch
Salt
1/4 Cup
Pecans (chopped)
1/2 Cup
Vanilla Greek Yogurt

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375F.
  2. Slice the pears in half and remove the seeds from the centre with a spoon.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the BeeMaid Honey, vanilla, spices and salt.
  4. Place the pears face up on a lined baking sheet or baking dish. Lightly brush each pear with half of the the spiced honey mixture, reserving some for the end.
  5. Bake pears for 15-20 minutes or until slightly tender and golden. (Note: monitor to ensure the honey does not burn).
  6. As it bakes, add the chopped pecans to a medium bowl and drizzle the remaining spiced honey mixture on top. Stir with a spoon until the pecans are fully coated and sticky.
  7. Remove the pears from the oven and add a scoop of the candied pecan mixture in the centre of each pear.
  8. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes and serve pears warm on a bed of vanilla Greek yogurt or with ice cream.
  10. Garnish with an extra drizzle of BeeMaid Honey and enjoy.
