Forget everything you know about cinnamon rolls. We’re giving this beloved bake a seriously savoury makeover with Honey BBQ Pulled Beef Rolls, packed with tender pulled beef, melty cheese and plenty of BBQ flavour. They’re soft, cheesy, meaty and totally unexpected, turning a classic sweet treat into a dinner roll that’s anything but ordinary.

BeeMaid Amber Honey is the perfect match for this recipe, bringing a touch of sweetness that complements smoky BBQ flavours and grilled meats beautifully. Its rich, honey-forward flavour helps balance the savoury beef and gooey cheese for a combination that hits all the right notes. Serve these warm and watch them disappear. They may look like cinnamon rolls, but one bite makes it clear these are in a delicious category of their own.

1/2 Cup
Beef Broth
1/4 Cup
BBQ Sauce
3/4 Cup
Shredded Marble Cheese
Dough
2 1/4 Tsp
Instant Yeast
1 1/2 Cups
Milk (warmed)
1/3 Cup
Sugar
5 Tbsp
Salted Butter (softened)
1/4 Cup
Sour Cream
4 1/2 Cups

Directions

1.Preheat your BBQ or oven to 350 degrees.
2.Coat your chuck roast in your beef rub evenly on all sides. Place on a grated baking sheet if you are doing it in the oven. Directly onto your grill grates, indirectly if you are using a BBQ.
3.Cook until an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Once it has, remove from the grill, place into an aluminum pan, and pour the beef broth on top. Cover with aluminum foil and place back onto your grill or oven. Once it reaches 200 degrees, remove and cover in a towel to rest for 1 hour. Once it has rested, you can shred and set aside.
4.Next, make your cinnamon roll dough. Using a stand mixer, add your yeast and warm milk and let it get frothy (about 5 minutes). Add all other ingredients and let mix together on a low speed for 5 minutes, using the dough hook. Remove from the bowl and put it into an oiled bowl cover to let rise for 1 1/2 hours.
5.Assemble the BBQ cinnamon rolls by remove the dough from the bowl, and onto a clean surface. Shape with a rolling pin into a rectangle. Next, add your BBQ sauce, pulled beef, 1/2 of the marble cheese and 1/4 cup honey. Roll the dough onto itself and cut 2″ cinnamon rolls.
6.Place into a baking sheet and cover once more for a second rise. Sprinkle the remaining marble cheese on top. Let it rise for an additional 30 minutes.
7.Preheat your BBQ or oven to 400 degrees. Place your BBQ cinnamon rolls to cook for 30-40 minutes or until crispy golden brown.
8. Finish your rolls with a drizzle of BeeMaid Honey and serve. Enjoy!
