Fun, festive, and no-baking required – these adorable Valentine’s Day popcorn balls are the perfect salty-sweet dessert. Made with crunchy popcorn, fluffy marshmallows and BeeMaid Honey, they’re easy make, mess-free, and full of that irresistible crunch-and-chew combo everyone loves. Great for Valentine’s Day treats, parties, or a cozy night in with friends, these treats come together in minutes. Dress them up with sprinkles or keep them classic for a fun, shareable dessert!

Ingredients

Recipe
2 Large Bags
Microwave Popcorn
3/4 Cup
BeeMaid Honey
1 Cup
Mini Marshmallows
2 Cups
Powdered Sugar
1/4 Cup
Butter
2 Tsp
Cold Water
3-4 Drops
Pink or Red Food Colouring
Optional:
Rainbow Sprinkles

Directions

  1. Pop the popcorn in the microwave according to packet instructions and pour into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the marshmallows, BeeMaid Honey, butter and water into a medium sauce pan and heat at medium high. Once the marshmallows and butter have started to soften, stir and add in the powdered sugar. Continue to stir until all of the ingredients have melted together to form a creamy, sticky mixture. (Note: monitor the heat to ensure the BeeMaid Honey doesn’t burn).
  3. Add in the food colouring and stir again until bright pink. Remove the pot from the heat and pour all over the popcorn immediately.
  4. Stir the popcorn with a large spatula, ensuring that the sticky honey marshmallow mixture coats each piece evenly. Add your sprinkles to the mix and continue to stir.
  5. Once coated, allow the popcorn to cool. Using your hands, grab a large fistfull of popcorn and shape into a  3 inch ball. Place each ball on a large stretch of parchment paper.
  6. Serve right away or wrap in plastic wrap if prepping ahead. Store at room temperature.
  7. Enjoy!
