Cream Cheese or Goat Cheese
12
Jalapeños
2 Tbsp
BeeMaid Honey
1/4 Cup
Fig Jam
1/2 Cup
Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
12 Pieces
Bacon Strips
Garnish:
Drizzle of BeeMaid Honey

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Cut each of the peppers in half and remove seeds. (Note: wear gloves to avoid getting oils from peppers on your hands).
  3. In a small bowl, combine the cream cheese and BeeMaid Honey with a spatula, stirring until the honey has disappeared and the cream cheese is soft.
  4. Soon approx. 1 Tbsp of cream cheese into each of the jalapeno halves. Then top with a thin layer of fig jam, followed by a sprinkle of the cheddar cheese.
  5. Wrap each of the stuffed pepper halves with a slice of bacon and secure in place with a toothpick. Once each of the peppers are wrapped, place on the baking sheet, leaving an even amount of room between each pepper.
  6. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until the bacon has become slightly crispy and the cheese has melted.
  7. Let cool for 5-10 minutes then add an extra drizzle of BeeMaid Honey on top before serving!
