Caramel Sauce:
1. In a saucepan, bring the BeeMaid Honey and heavy creame to a boil over medium high heat.
2. One it begins to bubble, reduce th eheat to medium and let simmer for approximately 8 minutes or until the mixture has become thick and smooth in consistency.
3. Once it has slighly cooled use as a drizzle over brownies or ice cream, or a dipping sauce for candy apples.
Note - The honey caramel sauce will begin to firm up as it cools. Easily reheat in a microwave ans store in your fridge.
Halloween Candy Apple Charcuterie Board:
1. Fill 4-6 small muffin tins with your favourite toppings (cookie crumbs, candies, peanuts, graham crackers etc.)
2. Add your warm honey caramel sauce to a bowl and place in the centre of a wooden charcuterie board. Place the filled muffin tins around it.
3. Cut up 3-4 green apples and place around the board.
4. Using wooden skewers, spear the apples and dip into the caramel sauce. Then immediately dip into the topping of your choice to enjoy a fun fondue-like treat!
