Beet Hummus with Honey


  • 1/3 cup 
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. 
    BeeMaid Honey
  • 1 large 
    lemon, zest & juice
  • 1/4 cup 
  • 1 red 
    beet, roasted, cut in quaters
  • 1 can 
    chickpeas, drained
  • 1 clove 
    garlic, peeled
  • jalapeƱo, seeded, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. 
    salt & pepper
  • optional 
    crumbled feta for serving


Place all ingredients in high speed blender in order listed (except feta).

Start on low speed and gradually turn to high and blend until thoroughly mixed. You will have to stop your blender occassionally to scape down the sides.

Sprikle with crumbled feta. Serve with crudites and crackers!
