Traditional Passover Charoset Spread

6 peeled Grated apples
2/3 cup Chopped almonds or walnuts
3 tbsp BeeMaid honey
3 tsp Cinnamon
4 tbsp Sweet red wine (or to taste)
1 Grated rind of lemon (optional)


Combine ingredients, mixing thoroughly. Chill. Keep refrigerated.

Serve as a traditional spread on Passover matzah, or as a yummy spread on crackers or bread all year round.

Makes 3 cups.
