Traditional Passover Charoset Spread

|6 peeled||Grated apples|
|2/3 cup||Chopped almonds or walnuts|
|3 tbsp||BeeMaid honey|
|4 tbsp||Sweet red wine (or to taste)|
|1||Grated rind of lemon (optional)|
Combine ingredients, mixing thoroughly. Chill. Keep refrigerated.
Serve as a traditional spread on Passover matzah, or as a yummy spread on crackers or bread all year round.
Makes 3 cups.
