Dutch Style Green Beans

1 package Frozen green beans (10 oz., 283 grams)
2 tbsp. Butter
½ cup Chopped onions
2 tbsp. Flour
½ tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Pepper
¼ cup Vinegar
2 tbsp. Bee Maid Liquid honey
¾ cup Bean liquid and water


Cook beans following package directions. Drain, saving liquid. Meanwhile, melt butter in a small saucepan; add onion and cook until soft but not brown. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add vinegar and honey and gradually stir in bean liquid. Cook over low heat stirring until smooth and thickened. Remove from heat and gently fold cooked beans into the sauce.
