Dark Beer, Honey & Green Onion Steak Marinade
|1/4 cup (60 mL)||Soy sauce|
|2 tbsp (30 mL)||Sesame oil|
|3 garlic cloves||Minced|
|1/4 cup (60 mL)||Minced green onions|
|1 tbsp (15 mL)||Whole-grain mustard|
|1 tbsp (15 mL)||Worcestershire sauce|
|1/2 cup (125 mL)||Dark beer, such as Guinness|
|1/3 cup (75 mL)||Creamed BeeMaid Honey|
|1 orange||Zest from 1 orange|
|2, 1 lb (16 oz)||Steaks|
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Pour into a plastic resealable bag and add steaks to mixture, turning to coat.
Seal bag and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Remove steaks from marinade and pat dry.
Place on a preheated grill and cook until desired doneness, about 4 minutes a side for medium-rare.
Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving or carving.
