Dark Beer, Honey & Green Onion Steak Marinade

1/4 cup (60 mL) Soy sauce
2 tbsp (30 mL) Sesame oil
3 garlic cloves Minced
1/4 cup (60 mL) Minced green onions
1 tbsp (15 mL) Whole-grain mustard
1 tbsp (15 mL) Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup (125 mL) Dark beer, such as Guinness
1/3 cup (75 mL) Creamed BeeMaid Honey
1 orange Zest from 1 orange
2, 1 lb (16 oz) Steaks


Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk to combine. Pour into a plastic resealable bag and add steaks to mixture, turning to coat.

Seal bag and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Remove steaks from marinade and pat dry.

Place on a preheated grill and cook until desired doneness, about 4 minutes a side for medium-rare.

Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving or carving.
