Ingredients
| 1 cup | Bee Maid Liquid Honey |
| ½ cup | Shortening, softened |
| 2 eggs, | Beaten |
| 1 cup | Applesauce |
| 2 ½ | Cups all-purpose flour |
| ½ tsp. | Salt |
| ½ tsp. | Baking powder |
| 1 tsp. | Baking soda |
| 1 tsp. | Cinnamon |
| ½ tsp. | Vanilla |
| 1 cup | Raisins |
| 1 cup | Chopped nuts |
Directions
In a large bowl, cream honey and shortening. Add eggs and applesauce. Sift together flour, salt, bakiing powder, baking soda and cinnamon. Add to honey mixture, blending well. Stir in vanilla; fold in raisins and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in cold water. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius) for 10-12 minutes.
