ALMOND HONEY GLAZED POPCORN

Ingredients

1 cup Butter
3/4 cup BeeMaid honey
3/4 cup Brown sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
1tbsp Vanilla extract
1 tsp Baking soda
4 quarts Popped corn
1 cup Toasted silvered almonds

Directions

PREHEAT OVEN TO 250 DEGREES. IN A MEDIUM SAUCEPAN MELT BUTTER THEN ADD HONEY, BROWN SUGAR AND SALT.

BRING TO A BOIL STIRRING CONSTANTLY THEN REDUCE HEAT AND CONTINUE TO COOK FOR 3-5 MINUTES STIRRING OCASSIONALLY. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND ADD BAKING SODA AND VANILLA EXTRACT STIRRING QUICKLY.

POUR MIXTURE OVER POPCORN IN A LARGE BOWL, MIXING TO COAT. ADD ALMONDS; MIX THOROUGHLY.

POUR ONTO 2 GREASED BAKING SHEETS AND BAKE FOR 45 MINUTES STIRRING EVERY 10-15 MINUTES. COOL ON SHEETS, BREAK INTO PIECES, STORE IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER.
