At Western Wax Works we employ the most advanced technology in the business to ensure color consistency from dye lot to dye lot. However, as with any natural product, dye lots of each color may vary slightly with each run. At times, a dusty-looking film called "bloom" will form on the sheets of pure beeswax. Not only is bloom harmless, it actually indicates the 100% purity of quality beeswax. It is easily removed by warming the wax slightly with a hair dryer.
